Cloud adoption should be 'limited'

Public Service - Public sector bodies should limit cloud computing adoption to "non critical applications", a report from EU cyber security agency ENISA has said.

Providing advice to public bodies currently deciding whether and how to implement cloud, ENISA said that national governments should prepare a cloud computing strategy and study the role that cloud computing will play for critical information infrastructure protection.

This was deemed necessary due to the significant proportion of citizens, businesses and public administrations that would soon rely on cloud computing.
